Norm and Debrea want to landscape the front of their house. It's not big but they want to do it right. You know, the right plant, in the right place. So, that's what we are going to do.
-Yew Podocarpus is a great plant for one that will get taller and not very wide.
-Burgundy Blast Loropetalum has burgundy leaves and blooms early in the spring.
-Dwarf Yaupon Holly is probably the best dwarf shrub you can plant here in Texas.
When it comes to ground covers these have been used for as long as we've been slicing bread. Below we have:
-Mondo Grass- aka Monkey Grass
-Dwarf Mondo Grass
-Big Blue Liriope- aka Green Liriope
and if you want a vine for a ground cover in a shady area these will work:
-Asiatic Jasmine.
-Vinca minor
-Vinca major.
Any questions let me know.
